Exosex CM and Exosex OFM
Exosect, a leading provider of environmentally conscious insect pest control today announced that following the launch of Exosex CM in the USA earlier this month and the continued demand by fruit growers across the world, it has increased commercial production by 300 percent at its manufacturing department in Hampshire, UK.
The sharp increase in demand from growers for its mating disruption product, Exosex CM for codling moth, is attributed to a pressure to reduce the number of pesticide sprays used on crops and the success of a series of worldwide field trials that covered 400 hectares. In addition, a deal with its new USA partner, the California based research and technology company, Sci-Protek will see Exosex CM and its oriental fruit moth product, Exosex OFM distributed widely across the USA.
Managing Director of Exosect, Martin Brown comments, "Since moving to our new 2,520sq m manufacturing department in November 2006 we have seen demand for our products increase significantly. In January 2007 we are on target to produce significant quantities of Exosex CM for use by growers in orchards across the UK, South Africa and of course the USA."
