Nike Inc. elite golf testing facility now GolfLinx equipped

GolfLinx, the name that appears on the world's leading soil moisture sensor solution, is pleased to announce that its latest technology has been installed at Nike Inc's elite golf equipment testing facility in Dallas, Texas.

President Steve Quindlen said a key GolfLinx distributor in the US, Horizon, had signed an agreement to supply Nike's high tech golfing facility with a GolfLinx soil moisture monitoring technology.

Nike's $10 million research and design facility is used by US PGA Tour players and is the center for Nike's club research, design and testing programs.

"This is the facility where Nike brand ambassadors and champions including Tiger Woods test equipment before competing on the international golf circuit," Mr Quindlen said.

"Nike has joined many in the golfing sector who see GolfLinx as a world leading technology and an essential part of its irrigation system at the Dallas facility."

The agreement is one of a number of deals that emerged since GolfLinx joined forces with leading US irrigation products distributor Horizon. GolfLinx and Horizon recently signed the agreement with Nike and the technology has been installed by Horizon employees trained in the US.

"We are incredibly pleased with the opportunities that are emerging after our recent partner agreement with Horizon," Mr Quindlen said.

GolfLinx - the performance turf division of AquaSpy Inc, is building a growing reputation for supplying first class technology to golf courses in the United States.

"Superintendents managing golf courses in the US now recognize GolfLinx as an important tool in their daily task of keeping golf courses in first class shape at a time when water is in short supply," Mr Quindlen said.
