Steritrox Ltd, based in Stockport, UK, is a leading developer of a patented process for rapid room sanitation and disinfection. The company's technology uses a "fog" of ozone and hydroxyl radicals to strongly sanitise all surfaces and air, killing all pathogens including those such as Listeria, E. coli and MRSA followed by a quenching process allowing rapid room re-entry. It is currently targeting the food processing and healthcare sectors.  WHEB Ventures invested in the company alongside existing investor North West Equity Fund as part of a £2.5m round.
