Core to this technology are silicon based microsieves produced with advanced manufacturing techniques adapted from the semiconductor and microsystems industries. The inherent material properties together with the sophisticated production process result in extremely high specific fluxes with simultaneous significant energy savings and exceptional filter accuracy. Initial target markets are in the dairy, beverage, ink and biotech industries. WHEB joins two other investors in a €6.4 million investment.
